It’s summer. It’s Seattle. It’s time for a drink – if that’s your thing. If it is, July just so happens to be the best time for sampling some incredible beers, wines, and ciders. During the whole month, you’ll have your pick of several drinking events taking place all over the City. Plus, in true Seattleite style, each festival gives you the opportunity to do more than just wet your whistle. With every drink, you get a side of food, music, or both! So, without further ado, here is a breakdown of the top Seattle events in July that are perfect for admirers of adult beverages!

Seattle International Beerfest (Tickets: $25 – $40)

We at Eleanor are overjoyed that more than 200 beers will soon be flowing from taps located only 15 minutes from our apartments near Greenlake. From July 7 to 9, beer lovers will be hitting up Seattle Center to enjoy live music, food, and selections from over 75 breweries.

Bremerton Summer BrewFest (Tickets: $20)

On July 14 and 15, droves of Seattleites will be driving or ferrying to Bremerton where 35 breweries will be serving 100 craft beers. Food will be available for purchase, and local bands Garage Heroes and Boy Blue will be serenading crowds with rock and blues.

Summer Beer Taste (Tickets: $25 to $30)

Looking for Seattle events in July where you can sport your finest tie-dye? You’re in luck! On July 22 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Phinney Center will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love with beer and cider from 30 breweries and cideries. In addition, there will be scrumptious bites from the Barking Dog Alehouse.

Snohomish Cider Fest (Tickets $30 to $40)

On July 20th at noon, you can get your cider on at Thomas Family Farms in Snohomish. It’s pretty much guaranteed that you’ll come across ciders that you’ve never had before. And, the Jimmy Peppers BBQ food truck will be onsite for your eating pleasure.

Gig Harbor Wine and Food Fest (Tickets: $80)

Sure, this is one of the most expensive Seattle events in July, but it’s because it’s packed full of fun activities. On top of the tasting event that’ll feature 50 local restaurants, wineries, distilleries, and breweries, there will also be celebrity chef cook-offs, food demonstrations, and various culinary classes.  

Tasting Flight (Tickets: $32 to $80)

The Woodland Park Zoo, 10 tastes of wine, food, animal encounters and exhibits, and music courtesy of KEXP – what else could you ask for in a wine tasting event? We can’t think of anything, so you might want to buy your tickets for either July 27 or 28 soon!

Bite of Seattle (Tickets: FREE!!)

The pièce de résistance of Seattle events in July is the Bite of Seattle. From July 21 to 23, the Seattle Center becomes a culinary mecca. Highlights include the following:

  • Over 60 restaurants serving up food samples and plates
  • Beer and cider tastings
  • Restaurant showcases benefiting the non-profit Food Lifeline
  • Nearly 100 music acts rocking out on four different stages
  • Food demonstrations and cook-offs
  • A movie night featuring the classic film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Whew – looks like you have quite a bit of sipping to do this month! Hopefully, once all the festival taps stop flowing and you’ve had your fill of Seattle events in July, you’ll find the perfect spot for savoring your new wines and brews.
